We are delighted to offer this tailored 1 day first aid course to our members. The course is primarily an educational programme aimed at the rider and driver community with the focus on contributing to the reduction in the number of KSI (killed and seriously injured) incidents. The objective is to give participants a better understanding of what to do if they come across a road traffic collision and how to manage it safely.
There are 3 main modules:
1. Incident Management – Don’t panic, managing the scene, assess casualties, etc
2. First Aid & Trauma – dealing with head and spinal injuries, major bleeds & amputations
3. Practical Scenario Assessments

Venue – The Club (formerly The Masonic Club), 5 Gordon Crescent, Inverness (off Walker Place near HMP Inverness)
Cost – Free
Refreshments – tea, coffee and a sandwich lunch is provided
Trainer – Paul Wilson BA MSc
Paul has extensive experience in Safety and Risk Management having worked in this field for over 30 years. Paul has many First Aid, Safety and Outdoor Education qualifications and has created this course specifically for us and our requirements. He is kindly offering the course free of charge and so any member of our Group can benefit from his knowledge and expertise.
This course is open to all members, as no previous First Aid experience is necessary. However, those who currently hold a valid Basic First Aid qualification (eg First Aid at Work) have the option to purchase an add on certificate on completion of this course (£10).
