Associate Information Evening
Highland Advanced Motorists are planning a series of Information Evenings for our Associate Members. So, if you have signed up to participate in advanced training, or are currently working with an Observer on your Advanced Course, why not come along and meet other Associates and have a relaxed evening of chat, with a little informal training thrown in for good measure
September Woodland Social
Two of our members have kindly offered the use of their land for a ‘Gathering’ with the added bonus of a selection of off road trails to enjoy. Trails are suitable for adventure type or off road bikes. (Knobbly tyres recommended) They are also suitable for mountain bikes, electric or pedal. So why not come along and have a go.
Ride Out - Camping
Ride out to Mull via the Kilchoan to Tobermory ferry with an overnight camp on Mull.
Meeting at 10am at Lochaber High School on Saturday.
July Ride Out
This is a short afternoon run.
1300 for 1330 departure at Tesco Dingwal.
Over the Struie to Lairg for coffee and cake at the Pier.
Return via Rogart.
First Aid – Road Traffic Collision Training
We are delighted to offer this tailored 1 day first aid course to our members. The course is primarily an educational programme aimed at the rider and driver community with the focus on contributing to the reduction in the number of KSI (killed and seriously injured) incidents.
Motorcycle Ride Out
The route starts at Carrbridge Car Park then heads to Grantown, Craigellachie, A95 back to Speyside Centre, Skye of Curr for lunch. After lunch, Route follows on to Coylumbridge, Kingussie, Laggan and returns to Old Post Office Cafe, Kincraig for coffee/route end.

First IAM Run of the season is set for Saturday 13th April, leaving from Tesco Dores Road, organised by Jim McLaughlin.
This run is open to all associates and members, it doesn’t matter where you are on the IAM journey, you are welcome.

Members of the Group Committee, some of the group’s Observers and invited guest speakers will also be present and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about our Group’s organisation, the training or any related topic.
We plan on running 3 events during the year and you are welcome to attend one or more of these.
Each will be a stand -alone event with different speakers each time

HiAM invites you to a Zoom Event to hear about the life and experiences of NHS Paramedic David Russell. David is not just any paramedic, he is a member of the medical team who crews the Emergency Helicopter based in Highland.
